1) Name: Edward Ross Blake
2) Age: 35
3) How long they've taught at AFA: 5 years
4) Subject: Supernatural Studies
The subject of the paranormal in the world around us has been one to fascinate and inspire, thrill and terrify human being since our earliest beginnings. From werewolves to vampires-the everyday kind of Supe-to the exotics like the faeries and the demons...knowing their functions in this world as well as the dangers they might present is pretty much a must on the list of things to know.
Now my knowledge doesn't come from some fancy classroom, it comes from the best source imaginable: hands on, real life, up to my elbows in it, experience. So everything you hear about from the top three ways to scare off ghouls to the early detection signs that your neighbor is a werewolf...All the lessons in my class come with practical applications, and one hundred percent personal experience.
5) Personality Summary: Mr. Blake, who prefers to go by Mr. B to his students and Eddie to the rest of the world, spent nearly a decade as a wanderer. He took up random jobs to pay the rent, and eventually fell into the bounty hunting profession where he came into close contact with all variety of supernatural creature. Not to mention putting a fair share of them into the ground.
Still, somehow he is an extremely amiable guy. Light hearted, and always ready to laugh with his students...Eddie keeps a ready arsenal of cheesy jokes and flip remarks up his sleeve which thus far has managed to keep his students from falling asleep during class.
With his coworkers he is the unprofessional one, but with the parents of his student's he's all business. He's a man of many faces and it's absolutely impossible to tell how much is genuine....not that his students care.
6) How he/she feels about having a vampire student at AFA: A combination of wary and excited.
The prospect of a Supe perspective in class is really exciting, not just for myself but for the students as well. I'm a little concerned about a young vampire being able to maintain control around so many warm bodies...but I'm certain that the administration knows what they're doing.
